Ida Lupino, the Bette Davis of the poor

Favourite!! It Will never be claimed enough. One of the women I most admire from the golden age of Hollywood.
Ida Lupino, known as the “la Bette Davis of the poor“. Screenwriter, director (As far as I know, the first in Hollywood history and the only one in her time) and an excellent actress. She faced the Hollywood of his time totally dominated by conventions and prevailing male chauvinism. It can be seen with Humprey Bogard in “High Sierra” 1941. Among her Works we can see “The Hitch-Hiker” 1953, the first black film directed by a woman, “Outrage” 1950 hard story about a violation or the chapter “The masks” of The Twilitht Zone.
