Steve Darbishire & The Yum Yum Band sólo grabaron 5 singles, entre el 65 y el 67. Sus álbumes contienen toques de psicodelia mezclados con influencias de Elvis. Pete Dello, que luego estaría en Honeybus, compuso muchas de las canciones del grupo, y fue miembro de la banda hasta su disolución.
This recording is totally out of its time, it is from 1966 and was published by the Decca label. The theme in question is quite close to the craziest and wildest rockabilly of the 50’s. Steve Darbishire & The Yum Yum Band only recorded 5 singles, between ’65 and ’67. Their albums contain touches of psychedelia mixed with Elvis influences. Pete Dello, who would later be in Honeybus, composed many of the group’s songs, and was a member of the band until its dissolution.
